Tour of the United Electric Supply Company

Please plan on joining us on October 28th as we tour the United Electric Supply Company facility in New Castle, Delaware.

United Electric Supply is a regional wholesale distributor of electrical equipment serving the construction and industrial markets in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Northern Virginia. United distributes a complete range of electrical equipment, stocking approximately 15,000 different products in their 15 locations. United's New Castle facility serves as the company headquarters and is also the largest of their three regional distribution centers.

United is a 100% employee-owned organization. A strong focus on customers and continuous improvement compliment the employee-ownership culture. In 2004, their New Castle building was destroyed by a tornado. During the tour, we will include a brief discussion of their Disaster Recovery Plan that enabled them to continue operations.

Directions 

 From points South – Note I-95 Exit 5 to Rt. 141 South is CLOSED
  1. Stay on I-95 right lanes, take Exit 5C (I-295 Memorial Bridge/NY)
  2. Stay in right lane, look for RT. 13 South exit.
  3. Take RT.13 South exit.
  4. Continue RT. 13 South for approximately 1.43 miles.
  5. Take RT 141 North exit.
  6. Stay on RT 141 North through 2 traffic lights.
  7. Take second right (Bellecor Drive) after Cumberland Farms Gulf Station.
  8. United will be approximately .3 miles on left.
From Points North
  1. I-95 Exit 5 onto Rt. 141 South
  2. Continue through light at Commons Blvd.
  3. Take first left (immediately after light at Commons Blvd.) onto Bellecor Dr.
  4. United is approximately .3 miles on left
