Director of Demand Planning
We are currently working with a 100 year-old Consumer Goods organization that is going through a substantial supply chain transformation with an emphasis on being demand-driven.
Their strategy of 1st priority = winning in the workplace and 2nd priority = winning in the marketplace is paying off. How many companies this year can say:

With almost 70% of sales realized in the US today, the international potential for this organization has barely been touched. As the middle class grows in places like India, Russia and China, the future growth projections for this organization are taking off.
To help ensure success in our supply chain transformation, we are looking for a Director of Demand Planning.
Position Description:
- Director of Demand Planning reporting to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Optimization and Materials Management;
- Manage 4 Senior Demand Planners
- Develop and introduce a best-in-class demand planning process to help increase forecast accuracy;
- Leverage strong leadership to build relationships with sales, marketing, operations, procurement and executive management;
- Protect the financial performance of the strategic business units by identifying potential supply chain issues and recommending improvements.
Background Required:
- A strong business acumen with the ability to establish trust / relationships quickly;
- 10+ years forecasting experience in a high-volume Retail / CPG supply chain
- Bachelor's Degree is required, no exceptions;
- Strong working knowledge of tier 1 applications like SAP, Manugistics, JDA, i2, Logility, etc. to support the forecasting process;
- Previous experience facilitating change management and driving continuous improvement.
Compensation Plan:
- $125 - 150K + 25% bonus
- Full benefit package including medical, dental, disability and 401(k).
